STOVE & OVEN PROBLEMS

WILL NOT IGNITE

When an electric stove won’t ignite, ensure the appliance power cord is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the appliance power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, then some other part will have to be repaired. The reason for the issue might be the surface element, infinite switch, burner igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER WILL NOT HEAT

A stove or burner or oven without produce heat won’t do much. Your oven won’t heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or bake element. A burner won’t fire up if an element breaks or if the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We are able to troubleshoot and repair these issues in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

PROGRAM ISSUES

You can assume the control board on a stove is broken if the program or timer functions do not work. If that’s the case, we are able to repair control boards for LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and most other brands and models of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on control boards and parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always need a hot oven. Although not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it might be due to an issue with the sensor or thermostat. Our technicians are able to diagnose the reason for the problem and then fix it. But be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of burns from the high and unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter will glow but it doesn’t light. The reason this occurs is sometimes from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or temperature sensor. We can determine if we can repair these parts or if we have to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

Modern self-cleaning types of ovens can have door issues often. The door doesn’t open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, seal and thermostat to troubleshoot why the door doesn’t open up and then complete the necessary repair in order to resolve the problem.
